What is PMI?<\/span>

Positive Material Identification<\/h2>

PMI uses X-Ray Fluorescence (XRF) technology to determine the elemental composition of alloy materials \u2014 verifying the correct material has been used in fabrication and installation.<\/p>

PetroNDT performs portable XRF PMI on piping, flanges, fittings, valves and welding consumables to confirm alloy grades including austenitic stainless steels, duplex, chrome-moly and nickel alloys.<\/p><\/div>
